OUR TEAM

Abi has spent the last ten years designing and supporting social impact networks. She is fascinated by the potential for people to learn faster and achieve better outcomes when they collaborate, and is particularly inspired when this is applied for social justice and a fairer world. Her role within the NGFP practice is three-fold: 1) listen to the team and network to make sure we’re investing our efforts and resources in the best ways 2) support the transition towards a more decentralised and empowered network: working with our governance group made up of members, and SOIF team members to develop ideas and be creative and 3) identify and build the partnerships that will enable us to sustain and grow.

Cat leads the School of International Futures (SOIF) and is the idealiser of Next Generation Foresight Practitioners. Her mission is to inspire individuals, communities, organisations and governments to reinvigorate democracy by designing, scaling and embedding a range of innovations incorporating thinking about the future.

Daniel develops and supports the NGFP Network futures and foresight learning journey, which includes training programmes, peer-to-peer learning spaces and the network’s collective futures and foresight learnings library. He is also the co-founder of the Participatory Futures Global Swarm co-operative and is the foresight advisor to the Mycelium Network, a gastronomy innovation network.

Fash has more than a decade of experience as a social entrepreneur, community connector, catalyst coach and educator, being at the centre of connecting people with the tools, people and communities they have and need to thrive. As a weaver at NGFP, he creates the space for NGFP to connect, learn, share, and grow their changemaking potentials and wellbeing to drive systemic transformation through town halls, peer-to-peer sessions, listening and taking relevant actions.

Katie works across the team to ensure that projects and people feel aligned and that we meet the ambitious goals of the NGFP Practice. She is responsible for project management over practice initiatives including our Hivebrite platform and the NGFP Fellowship process. She is focused on team support, wellbeing, cohesion and ensuring links are made with other practices across the SOIF ecosystem.

Louise is behind all content production at NGFP. She oversees the ideation, creation, and execution of digital content for the website, blog, social media accounts and email campaigns. She is motivated by creativity and promoting social change, and she has a decade of experience working with charities, NGOs, and small businesses in communications, content production and visual arts.

Passy is the NGFP Advocacy Lead and Africa Network Weaver. She leads impact networks of emerging future-alert changemakers, activists and leaders working on collaborative initiatives through sectoral, national and regional hubs that reimagine pathways for desirable and sustainable policies and practices for the benefit of future generations. The Africa Digital Futures Portal and the Youth Energy and Climate Futures Lab at COP27 are landmarks of the work she weaves. She is a Programme Manager leading the Sustainable Energy Futures and Youth in Development programmes at the Society for International Development and is the current Vice-Chair of the IRENA Global Council on SDG7.

Sarah is the community weaver and coordinator for the School of International Futures and builds communities across SOIF’s Practices, including the NGFP Practice, where she manages the awards process, outcomes and the NGFP community. She also works with external partners and collaborators identifying opportunities for the NGFP network including the judges and leads the NGFP Impact Fund.
